Simple Spring Mantel

Every time it feels like Spring is here to stay this year, we get a weird cold snap and I want to cozy up again in my winter jammies, but I HAVE been slowly transitioning our house into Spring/Summer and stowing away all the faux fur! I am working on refreshing the rooms in our house to feel light and airy but things are going a little slowly since we are a bunch of busy bees apparently! However, I did want to show you guys what my mantel currently looks like and my new custom sign that I am SO in love with!

I didn't go all out for Easter decor on the mantel this year, which is kind of disappointing but I'm okay with it since I was able to put my energy elsewhere. After ridding the house of all things holidays, I simply left some of my vintage brass and blue and green glass bottles with a few springs of dried greenery. When I brought home our custom sign from Sprigs of Wisdom, I decided it could live on the mantel until I find it a more permantent home. I love the juxstaposition of the shiny mirror and the stained wood. The white and natural wood tie to the earthy tones of the greenery and white candle and the sign definitely anchors and makes a statement!

I have been so inspired by Our Faux Farmhouse on Instagram, and how Holly layers the signs on their mantel. I have been wanting to change out our mirror for something different, but haven't quite desided what that will be just yet, so for now this super simple gathering will do!

Also, that sign has me all in my feelings about our family hitting the TEN YEAR mark this year!

  1. There are certainly a lot of details like that to take into consideration. That is a great point to bring up. I offer the thoughts above as general inspiration but clearly there are questions like the one you bring up where the most important thing will be working in honest good faith. I don?t know if best practices have emerged around things like that, but I am sure that your job is clearly identified as a fair game. Both boys and girls feel the impact of just a moment?s pleasure, for the rest of their lives.
