Halloween 2013 - Behind the Camera and Dreaming

Halloween 2013

Friday, November 01, 2013

So that's over and we had a blast! I was roped into doing a skit/dance at work for our Halloween Party which involved me dressing as a Flapper and doing a little jig to Five Foot Two Eyes of Blue. It was fun (a total disaster- but fun). This inspired our family costume. Wesley and Jonah are wearing items we already had in the closet or in my prop baskets. We only went to like three houses because it rained all day and our neighborhood canceled the street party they usually throw, but had a great time at the last minute party our neighbors had! We have the best neighbors.

By the time we got a family photo, Jonah was so tired, which means he refuses to sit still. he goes into this must keep running and jumping mode to prevent any accidental napping. So, I'm a little jealous of all the pre-sunset photos of kids in their costumes, but I think I'll get over it. So here's our after dark trick or treating fun!

I hope everyone had a happy and safe night! This was probably my favorite Halloween in a long time!

  1. Love your costumes! Wesley's seersucker suit is amazing, and you look great! I might have to venture into the family costume idea next year :) I have never been a big Halloween person, but you know having kids changes all that. And Mr Jonah looks so handsome!

    1. It was really fun and easy on Jonah's part. The suit, Wesley actually wore in our wedding (on the beach)! This is the first time he's worn it since. =) Next year I have to find someway to wear my wedding dress! lol

Landon looked adorable! I have to show Wesley his costume. He will insist Jonah be the donut man next year. He's obsessed with Krispy Kreme!

I love the communication and connections one simple comment on a blog can bring. Lifetime friendships are formed, grown, and flourished in this little box. So, basically the pressure is on ;)
