Photo Booth with the Clarks - Behind the Camera and Dreaming

Photo Booth with the Clarks

Tuesday, November 13, 2012

For Jonah's party, we set up a photo booth in the corner of the yard. It was a fun little spot to just be silly and get a family photo!

Here's how WE did it!
 Materials:

  • Camera (borrowed my mom's DSLR - so I could have mine for photographing the party).
  • Tripod
  • Remote
  • Bench
  • Decorations
  • Silly prop

  • I chose a spot that I knew would be in full shade most of the afternoon, so I could set the camera and just leave it for others to use easily. I planned it to be vertical but these of us are kind all over the place!
  • My decorations were really simple, since it was a Fall Festival/Pumpkin Patch we used hay, pumpkins and mums. Then, we just tacked one of the scrap fabric banners to the house (we have wood siding - that obviously needs painting - maybe next year).
  • I found our props at Target, but you can find printable mustaches, glasses, and lips here.
I'm happy we did this. It added a little something fun. Those of you who I forced to participate...you will see your picture here tomorrow! =)

I love the communication and connections one simple comment on a blog can bring. Lifetime friendships are formed, grown, and flourished in this little box. So, basically the pressure is on ;)
