First Birthday: Jonah's Pumpkin Patch (decor)

I wanted Jonah's birthday party to be a celebration of our baby boy, as well as, a fun fall activity for us and our friends and family. I wanted to create a mini pumpkin patch complete with mini pumpkins, age appropriate games, a photo booth, yummy treats, and lots handmade decor. Every part of the yard had some kind of decor. The mini pumpkin patch had enough pumpkins for each kiddo invited to pick and take home. I used fabric scraps from my collection, my MIL's collection, my mom's and my sister's, plus I bought some oranges and blues to make the pennant banners and add the colors I wanted. We borrowed tables, bought (then sold) some hay bales, used and reused decor from past events and our relative's homes. I was really pleased with how it looked, unfortunately the stress of getting it all set up left me with not so perfect photos! I hope you can get the "feel" of the party through these photos!

There was rain on the day of the party, so I was extremely nervous about having EVERYTHING outside. I set up his cake and a few warm goodies inside. Below you'll see the cake table, a custom made no. 1 (tutorial to come), a year's worth of photos of Jonah, and I chalkboard banner I found on Very Jane a couple of week's ago.
