YP = Yellow Pages Review (there are french fries too)

I have had a little fun playing with my new YP app over the past few weeks. Prior to this campaign, I had no idea about the app or yp.com. YP = Yellow Pages. Yes the yellow pages. Remember when we used to flip through page after page of the phone book for a place to go out to eat? Well, at least that's what we did - especially on vacation. Now with the YP app we can save time (and bandaids) because all you have to do is do a simple search.. In the mood for Sushi? Just plug it in and YP will find the place nearest your current location with sushi on the menu OR if you like to plan ahead you can put in a city or zip code. You can even read reviews from other patrons. Oh and speaking of vacation, you can also search gas prices and map your location right from the app!

Being very busy parents of a very active almost 9 month old, it can be difficult to go out to eat, but occasionally we do, but we TOO OFTEN opt for take out (instead of cooking). So, I have some of my favorites saved in my YP app. I can even save the contact info straight to my phone and call to place my order directly from the app. The YP app also gives you the ability to share your review, etc. Now I'm not one to do this often, but when I find a great place, especially in my neighborhood (which I want to support as much as possible) I'll definitely share my experience!

I added some reviews of my own on some places I've visited in the past year or so. You can find my reviews here. Some places have more reviews than others, I guess they are still building.

AAND because I love taking pictures..I pulled out my camera and took some shots of our dinner. Yep. Wingstop.

Hope you guys found this helpful and will try out the app and let me know what you think! Hopefully, you'll find something a little healthier than I did.

XOXO

Thank you to YP for being a sponsor. Check out the latest YP app or YP.com to find food nearby fast! YP is your local companion for making decisions on everything from where to eat to where to find cheap gas. I love the communication and connections one simple comment on a blog can bring. Lifetime friendships are formed, grown, and flourished in this little box. So, basically the pressure is on ;)
