A Poetic Winter: Solitude - Behind the Camera and Dreaming

A Poetic Winter: Solitude

Thursday, February 02, 2012

Don't we come up with our best ideas when just have a little alone time to think? Winter seems to inevitably perpetuate solitude. We stay home, all snuggled up on our couches, drinking hot coffee, sipping soup and dreaming of our days spent outdoors. This year we have really seen very little of old man winter here in the south. Our temps have been mild and other than a little rain, it's been perfect for backyard playing and porch swing sitting. I know the chilly days are coming, even if they are just a little late. I will curse them and pray for spring and appreciate it even more when it arrives.

I love the communication and connections one simple comment on a blog can bring. Lifetime friendships are formed, grown, and flourished in this little box. So, basically the pressure is on ;)
